Ok, first, their relationship is complicated and fucked up and filled with more issues than a Playboy mansion. They don't really meet each other 'til mid season one and I don't mind giving you the basics but it involves tons of spoilers for the whole series and I don't want to ruin it for you if you plan on watching the rest of it.
