So, day two of the fic rec meme- I know everyone's excited, yeah?

Day 02. A favorite new fic (posted in the last few weeks):

This was a tough one because there's been tons of new fic out the past couple weeks, but this one got posted just this morning, so I took it as a sign, lol.

To Take What I'm Given With Grace by likeasugarcube and it is so fucken good guys, Jesus fuck.

It's fake marriage fic and there's smut and angst and fluff and ust and almost all my favorite things in one place. It's Pete/Patrick, of course, and awesomely written. Just, go read it, alright? You'll thank me.

(technically speaking, this fix is years old but it got taken down a few years ago and is finally back online for our reading pleasure, so it fucken counts.)

So, I thought I'd start the year off right and do a fic rec meme. Exciting, right? Every day I'll post a rec based on a prompt; multi-fandom of course, since I can not be expected to stick with only one, lol. Here's the first prompt:

Day 01. A fic with a great opening.

It took me a minute to decide, but I eventually went with:

Patricksitting (Call It A Love Song) by

adellyna. Mostly because Patrick kind of hates Pete at first and then three days later he wants to get in Pete's pants. Which, honestly, is perfectly typical reaction to Pete Wentz.
