It really is. I mean, come on, they grow up with just each other, it's always implied -at least to me- that Dean was always Sam's main source of affection; neither one of them can really maintain much of a relationship with anyone (there's exceptions, sure, but there's only one of those for each of them and they just prove the rule, imo).
There's a good argument for Destiel, too, although I'm more likely to go the Dean/Cas/Sam route.
