So, I need a bit of a distraction from my BBB (it's going well, but I need to work a convo out and it's not going as smoothly as I would like) and since I absolutely love daemon fic in all my fandoms, I thought I'd do a daemon meme.

 

(Daemons are...well, kind of your soul and subconscious and conscious and best friend all rolled into one, with a touch of a soul bond and empathetic/psychic connection for the fuck of it; the wikipedia explains it better than I can.)

 

Comment with a character from any of my fandoms, past or present and I'll answer with: the name of their daemon, what kind of animal it is, why I picked that one and any other spare headcanon I have laying around about them in this 'verse.

That whole description of the lynx is perfect for Punk! I can picture this in my head so easily as well as Colt's husky.

I think Punk's totally serious about leaving, but eventually everyone comes back. Plus he deserves better than to leave on such bad terms. He better come back! Last week's Raw they had the Shield wrestle first so the next 2hrs and 45 minutes was a struggle to stay awake. This whole thing with Punk could easily be turned into an angle.

Finding animals for daemon 'verse fic is always a lot of fun for me; I love meta and research and animals and being geeky about my fandoms, so really, it's all a good time for me, lol. I knew right away that Punk's daemon was some kind of cat and I settled on a lynx almost right away; Colt was a little more difficult, tbh -I debated between a wolf and a husky for a while, but wolves have a certain wariness that I don't associate with Colt, so husky it was.

Yeah, I thought he would leave this year, but I always thought he would wait until June, you know? Also, he's being really quiet about this amd that's really not him. The whole reason he "left" is definitely plausible -Batista going to 'Mania, etc., etc.,- but the whole thing seems off to me for some reason.

Picking out different daemons for people does seem like fun. Good choice on going with the husky over the wolf for Colt. The wolf is too serious. My mother-in-law has a husky and it's a very happy-go-lucky dog as well as being protective.

So you're thinking this whole Punk leaving is a work? I took at as true the second I heard it. I really hope you're right. I'd rather be a mark and have Punk than be right and have no Punk. I figured everyone is just being quiet about the situation because they are still trying to work out a solution.

Thinking of Batista in the main event at 'Mania makes me want to beat my head against the wall.

Yeah, they're generally happy, easy-going dogs, good with kids. Which, you know, is good because Punk is basically a petulant five year old, lol.

I'm leaning towards it is, right now; I guess we'll find out during the week if he comes back.

Ugh, I know. I can understand Punk being pissed about it.
