Patrick looked up from his acoustic when Pete came into the hotel room.
"Hey, 'Trick," Pete said wearily; he flopped down onto the bed and curled up into his mate's side.
"What's up?" Patrick asked, putting his guitar down for a minute. He ran his fingers through Pete's hair, rubbing at his scalp to try and help relax Pete.
"Everything sucks," Pete answered, his voice hard. "And I hate everyone."
Patrick smiled to himself; it was a good thing he had already arranged for them to Shift later on tonight. They had a free night for once, and there were some heavy woods about twenty minutes away from the hotel. Joe and Andy had already agreed to drive them and keep a general eye out.
Patrick didn't mention any of that, though. He just smirked and rolled over onto his back. "I know something that will make you feel better..." He trailed off and unbuttoned his jeans, letting his right hand dip underneath his boxers.
Pete brightened up immediately and grinned at him. "You've always got the best ideas, 'Trick."
